LATINO HERITAGE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
with Environment for the Americas

Thank you for applying for a position with the Latino Heritage Internship Program (LHIP). LHIP accomplishes several goals, including expanding National Park Service outreach into Latino communities, introducing Latino students to careers within the National Park Service, accomplishing projects specific to national parks across the United States, and more.

The internships are 10 weeks and will begin in late May and early June 2015. There may be some flexibility with dates depending on student and park schedules. Interns will be employees of Environment for the Americas, a non-profit organization based in Boulder, Colorado. One of our goals is to increase visitation to natural areas and participation in outdoor and cultural activities, the sciences, and more.  Interns will be compensated weekly and any travel and lodging costs will be covered.
